New Year Self Growth Tips

As the first month of the New Year comes to an end, we are reflecting on how we can be better versions of ourselves. If you fall into the category of feeling on top of the world or feeling like you lost your sparkle, it's never a bad idea to think about how to grow as a person and get back on the right track! Here are some ways we plan on becoming a better version of ourselves in 2021. 

Spend time outdoors : It's important to disconnect from the digital world in times like this. Most work from home and find it hard to find time to relax and unwind from the work day. Putting aside 20 minutes a day to sit outside or take a walk is an easy way to reset. 


Have some fun : Life can get busy and serious at times, it's important to let loose and have some fun! Plan to go try a new restaurant or do a fun craft. 


Journal : All of our brains get crowded at times. Jotting down a few things that are rushing through your mind can help put things at ease. Try this every night before bed! 


Make a bucket list: We have many things to look forward to this year! Make a bucket list of everything you want to do in 2021. No matter how big or small, crossing something off your bucket list is the best feeling. 


Make someone smile: We all could use a smile sometimes, you’d be surprised how much a small act of kindness can affect someone's day or even week! It can even be as simple as holding the door open for the person behind you or just simply asking someone if they need help. It doesn’t take much to brighten someone's day!
