New York Swim Week officially kicked off in the best way possible with an unforgettable afternoon at Dream Downtown, where we celebrated the start of one of our favorite weeks of the year alongside @ny.swimweek. Co-hosted by New York Swim Week, the rooftop transformed into the ultimate summer destination, bringing together creators, media, models, and our incredible Ivy community for an afternoon filled with sunshine (and a little rain), fashion, and unforgettable moments.

Even with a rainy forecast, nothing could dampen the energy. The clouds cleared just in time, giving us a beautiful few hours on the rooftop before the day wrapped up with a dramatic summer storm—a pretty iconic ending to an incredible kickoff.

A Rooftop Full of Summer Moments

Guests explored everything we had planned throughout the afternoon, from shopping our newest arrivals at the IVY Swimwear pop-up to creating one-of-a-kind pieces at our custom bikini charm bar. One of the biggest hits of the day was our coconut stand, where fresh coconuts kept everyone cool while they soaked in the rooftop atmosphere.

Our signature custom IVY pool floats quickly became the backdrop for countless photos, while the rooftop buzzed with conversations, new connections, and excitement for everything still to come throughout New York Swim Week.

A huge thank you to @solshine for keeping everyone looking runway-ready throughout the event. From effortless beach waves to sleek summer styles, the hair touch-up station was the perfect finishing touch before guests headed off to capture content around the rooftop.

The kickoff party also marked the official launch of our biggest collaboration yet with MAXIM.
