Dust, Denim & Bikinis: Behind the Lens in Saratoga

This October, Ivy Swimwear traded the beach for the barn. We packed up our Modern Muse collection plus some of our most iconic pieces and headed to North Country Horses in Saratoga for a dreamy countryside shoot that gave us all the rustic, romantic vibes. 

From golden hay bales to sunlight streaming through the stables, every moment felt straight out of a storybook. Our models brought the perfect mix of playful and editorial energy, turning simple barn doors and horse paddocks into the ultimate runway. And of course, the horses themselves were the stars of the day — curious, graceful, and always camera-ready. 🤠

Modern Muse in the Countryside 🌾

The barn setting was the perfect backdrop to show off our Modern Muse collection — muted, chic, and iconic bikinis that balance feminine elegance with effortless wearability. Favorites like Sienna in Red Clay, Nia in Terracotta, and Ivy in Cream popped against rustic wood and rolling fields, proving that these pieces aren’t just for the poolside — they’re a whole mood.

Cowgirl Energy ✨

While this shoot was all about capturing the versatility of our swimwear, we couldn’t help but notice how naturally the cowgirl aesthetic came alive. Wide-brim hats, boots in the dirt, and playful horse interactions gave the entire shoot a fun Western edge. 

Since Halloween is just around the corner, here’s a little inspo for our last-minute Ivy Babes: pair your favorite bikini with a cowgirl hat, denim shorts, and boots, and you’ve got yourself a chic, cheeky, and totally unique cowgirl costume

Behind the Scenes Moments 📸 

What made this shoot unforgettable were all the candid, in-between moments — laughter during outfit changes, golden-hour horse cuddles, and the little details like dust catching the light and models practicing their “cowgirl strut.” These moments captured the true Ivy Swimwear spirit: confident, playful, and always ready for any adventure.
